Useful Books and reading material

My friend Trish gave me this book, and it was just what I needed to read. It’s currently doing the rounds of family and friends. It was a timely gift!

It is easy to read; you can pick it up and read any chapter independently (although I devoured it from start to finish!). And there’s no jargon, just practical ideas and ways to cope. I think anyone who is caring for a partner with Alzheimer’s would find a lot of encouragement as well as useful information from this book. I noticed that it’s also available as an audio book. Don’t be put off because it’s written by an American author – it’s entirely relevant to Australia – dementia has no national boundaries as far as I can see!
